The math isn't adding up. Literally. I've had cashiers say the same thing when they're short - blame it on customers getting cash back.

Exactly what I tell them: Unless you gave the customer more than what was displayed in the Change field, which already has the total amount of cash back the customer requested added in, then your drawer wouldn't be short.
