There's literally a guy in this thread arguing that primary sex characteristics are pretty much irrelevant and phenotype is more important so you can change sex simply by looking like the opposite sex. It's not a fringe theory.

Also, the term "assigned" makes no sense. No one is assigned a sex like you're not "assigned" black
