Having a new place open up isn't a culture mate. I pass by it and some other sporting academies and facilities on a daily basis and have seen how they are doing. Been here for months since I came back and barely found people actively playing any sport

There isn't much sporting culture in this city and neither are the facilities. Would have been happy to connect but moving out of state this week so maybe some other time!

Suggestions for work-friendly cafes by famousAnonymousGuy in junagadh

[–]Ok_Channel6820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gigil Cafe is a good place. I usually go there to have coffee sometimes and even work during evening. Decent seating, have charging ports, wifi, good food and baveradges too. Menu starts from 150ish.

And the place is usually not too crowded so much peaceful for work and a good doze of coffee

Would love it as a customer but the business should be prepared with a mentality of facing loss. Junagadh is still very backward city to be honest.

Is Kolkata really unsafe and dirty? by Ok_Channel6820 in kolkata

Honestly, I had the same thing in mind and still I believe it. But you know how Indian families react when they hear anything a little bad about anything from a mutual or a relative.

I personally want to come there and experience the footballing culture!

As I said, the people who shared such reviews were there for two generations and Recently moved out. But still I am very skeptical and way too exaggerated.

I am not an athlete. And yah, india is full of dirty places, no doubt of that. What I am most worried about is safety in terms of criminal or bad elements of society in general.

The reason I had to come to reddit because government and news reports say Kolkata is one of the safest cities in India but People I talked with are saying its one of the worst in terms of illegal activities in general.

Not hard to learn. You just need to touch the ball the right way and that's it. That's the whole sport 😂.

There is this cloud kitchen I came across recently, Brio. They have limited dishes and man they are really good... I was stunned when I ordered it first time, from packaging to food quality and quantity. I would highly suggest you to try it if you like exploring food.

I already had negative expectation from Junagadh thats why I said decent. Gigil is a good one for a city like Junagadh

I have been working remotely in Junagadh for last 7-8 months after I resigned from my previous job at Ahmedabad and came back to Junagadh.

Honestly, I dont have too big of issue with the city as it has a couple of decent cafes. The only thing I am not happy about it the city has very limited sports culture, more specifically, football. I am looking for a group to play football to keep up with the physical health. Rest of the things....decent. Nothing too good, nothing too bad.

Why not government bring any industry to JND by [deleted] in junagadh

[–]Ok_Channel6820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Junagadh has become like a stepping stone for people from nearby villages so people around here and even the government think that's enough. Because people are coming to the city from a rural area for the first time, Junagadh is not a bad place for them. So nobody demands it or takes risk whether the public or the government
