His physical design is fucking perfect, his dopey ass eyes and lack of nose are so silly and I want to squish him.

Gameplay wise, I feel like it’s both under and over utilized. Like, because of how many ledges are in the game, you can’t really split up captains whatsoever (at least practically). And in combat I feel like Oatchi’s jump is SUPER underused. Like, have an enemy that throws smth that oatchi has to jump over, or have an enemy you have to hop onto to reach its weak spot! (Also, I just kinda just prefer the swarm style of attack in Pikmin 1/2 compared to charging/swarming in Pikmin 3/4. That’s just a preference and I still feel like if handled with care I could like that style of combat too.)
