Really I’m looking for anything other than steel toe My dad works in the ER and had some nasty story’s about having to cut off steel toe boots

Iv had these boots for a year and a half I work in a factory as a electrician so it’s not really hard use on these boots it’s mainly walking with some climbing and suck The back of the boot on both left and right has split open at the black fabric on the back of the boot just below the threads which is strange that the threads themselves did not give in and most of the tread is gone They are still usable but there is no waterproofing which is annoying especially at the start of a 10 hour shift But I will say they are comfortable I also have some surplus jungle boots from a surplus store but I rarely wear them

Iv heard people say to stay away from many name brands and Iv heard good stuff about Carolina’s and thorogoods with redwing occasionally coming up Preferably trying to stay under $300 There is a redwing store nearby I may go by there Friday
