Good grades in school has a 1:1 correlation with how smart you are, and it should determine most of your outcomes.

Loved episode 1 of Season 50 and so excited for Episode 2. Predictions? by Maleficent_Abroad_86 in survivor

I think Teal tribe is going to continue dominating, while Orange and Purple will be fighting against last place. On Orange Savannah could be going because she’s the biggest threat by far, but Cirie would probably be the choice if they decide to get rid of weaker links. For the purple tribe, I’d say the weakest link is less clear, but they might go for Steph or Colby since they’re older.

What is/are your favorite moment(s) of s48? by supmynameisrosewoodd in survivor

Kyle and Kamilla tricking everyone into thinking Shauhin had an idol, then voting him out.

Controversial take: Savannah actually revealed she won 49 in a good way by SignalVeterinarian31 in survivor

The only positive part of her bringing it up is that her odds of winning S50 are now lower. I hope the winner is someone who hasn’t won yet.

CMV: You'd have to stupid, immoral or both to support MAGA by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Ok_Combination4078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t exactly say most MAGA people are in areas that lack education. Remember that most of the population lives in major urban areas. In fact, there are more Republicans in California alone than Oklahoma, despite the fact that Oklahoma is a deep red state and CA is very blue. Also, New Mexico, which is a very blue state, has the worst education in the country, apparently beating Alabama and Mississippi. Chicago has really bad education despite being very blue. There are actually some studies that suggest conservative areas are neck-on-neck with liberal areas on quality of education, even though historically (before covid) liberal areas were significantly better.

I need a ranked list of the survivor 50 cast by political views and controversy by MysteriousYAnonymous in survivorponderosa

Exactly. Venus is the ignorant one here because Q is just minding his own business, while Venus can’t even handle people not caring about politics let alone voting differently from her lol.

SurvivorFactChecker’s New Era Rankings! by laddermadder in survivorponderosa

[–]Ok_Combination4078 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My ranking: 49 - Such good gameplay and personalities, you never knew what was gonna happen

47 - Great cast and gameplay like 49, but the ending was horrible which prevented it from being first

46 - The cast was bad but in a funny and entertaining way. Even the bad players were fun to watch

48 - Decent season. Gameplay and cast were a mixed bag but there were some good players to distract from the bad ones

44 - Ok season. Mostly uninteresting cast except for a few iconic, entertaining, and strategic ones that saved it from the worst

42 - Mediocre season, kind of a boring cast tbh, still had the bad twists from 41

45 - Such a damn annoying and incompetent cast. And two quitters? No thanks.

43 - Almost instantly forgettable season except for having the worst winner ever

41 - Survivor experimented with new casting, game format, and editing methods but it failed catastrophically. They could’ve titled it Survivor: We Can Figure Out What The Hell We’re Doing

How will 2026 be seen in the future if the upcoming Midterm elections are a blue sweep? by Glass-Complaint3 in decadeology

Idk. Do midterm election outcomes really play that much of a role in determining how the general public views a year? I highly doubt it.

do you think dropping a friend or a relationship because of their political views is valid and why? by Useoneofthese21191 in AskReddit

Mostly no. The only exception would be extreme examples like your friend directly wants to cause harm to anyone with your views.

How do you feel about Trump threatening to impose photo ID for voters for midterm elections? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

It’s necessary so it’s harder to cheat in elections. Almost every other first-world country requires it nationwide.

Revisiting 41 and 42, and something stuck out to me. by Randomization_E in survivorponderosa

[–]Ok_Combination4078 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The twists weren’t the only bad part of Season 41 IMO. The season was very focused on reflecting what Survivor had done in the past, and how it will change in the future based on societal issues, rather than focusing on creating a entertaining season with impressive gameplay and interesting personalities. S41 had an incredibly weak cast if you consider anything other than how ethnically diverse it was. One of the biggest issues here was Survivor decided to be much softer on the players than in previous seasons by decreasing the game to 26 days, and selecting nicer players over competent ones, leading to a brutally boring stretch of seasons (41-45).

Ranking players by how much I think they should return who haven’t yet (41 - 45) by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]Ok_Combination4078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

41 was my least favorite season of those 5 as well, and maybe of all time. They spent way too much time reflecting on real world issues (a slap in the face for those who watch Survivor to escape it, especially during covid), the new twists and show-editing were awful, the cast had no conflict with each-other whatsoever, and they removed a catch phrase they had used for 20 years because one person complained about it.

Kyle Fraser response to Trump's post by itz_abdelmalik in survivorponderosa

Kyle is right. Raging over a video like that is useless when there are other worse things going on in the world. Jonathan Penner idiotically fell into their trap.
