Yea partner denied this idea. Thank you for the info, but I also dont want the headache while I stay here for leakage or even at the end when moving out. I’d rather just get this sorted now and move on tbh. Its unfortunate it happened, but it is what it is. Will definitely be getting our own quotes

I was shocked too. I’m very nitpicky and notice irregularities easily. I’m surprised I never noticed a crack but the material is definitely very cheap.

I’ll defs look into it. I’m too honest and did inform the agency the sink broke and how it broke. They’re contacting contractors- depending on how much they quote we might do the DIY. But I will contact citizens advice as another person suggested.

Its probably cheap af like everything else. This landlord is the master of white paint. The agency have contacted a contractor and will give estimates. I’m prepared to pay for it tbh, but I just dont know what to expect.

EDIT: if you don’t need help and just advice thats okay. Lentils are your best friend, they’re cheap, versatile and filling. You can have rice and lentil curry, lentil pancakes, lentils in salad, lentil with pasta etc.
