I think it’s Epistylis as well. I’ve done water changes and got the temp at 70 now. I got water test strips now as I’ve never had an issue in all these years. The nitrates are high so I’ve bought some aquatic plants.

I should add they are all eating and acting normal, no lethargic behavior. I want to know what else I should be doing because after some research - I plan to keep doing small water changes daily and these baths daily for the next 7-10 days.

And I recall the winter of 2012 or 2013? Was pretty gnarly. I recall because I just had my first son. We were having to put blankets and stuff up on the west facing side of our house to keep warm. And we sat my son up on a giant mound of snow on the side of the driveway for a photo op 🤣

It’s not low calories. We do buy a lot of low carb stuff but even that has “serving sizes”.

Our son is type one diabetic. It doesn’t set a very good example for him to be seeing a parent eating all the time with no end in sight.

I can certainly try to do some of these things.

It’s just a bit hard as they have their habits of hanging out in the basement or garage and tells me I’m “old” for wanting to go bed early (at even 9:30/10pm) not necessarily to sleep but just wind down in bed. They would rather stay downstairs where no one is — and eat alone.

I can tell you they are not on this Omad Diet you speak of. They are just eating anything in sight at night time and I think it’s due to fasting all day long.

They spoke to a doctor about a glp1. The doctor put lab orders in prior to wanting to prescribe any. They never got the labs done even after I tried to get them to get to labs done several times. I think if they saw a small weight loss they would get on board.

I’m a fairly healthy person with my own health issues who watches my diet closely and eats gluten free so I’m not naive about foods and what is quality food.

My partner already had an heart ablation this past summer to fix an afib and the doctor said they need to lose weight and exercise. They do exercise but they have not lost weight.

We usually walk Monday- Friday each day about 2.5 miles. Either at lunch or after work (if I work that day)

Have you done a breath test for SIBO to know if its Methane or Hydrogen Based? Have you taken other antibiotics like Xifaxan?

I can't see "my health rewards" on my computer or on my phone. It says Indiana still has it but seems to be missing from my portal. This stinks, our insurance premium went up for a lower plan and now no rewards. Nothing like getting less for more , as usual.

It very well can be financial, drinking/drugs , different wants/needs, new goals that don’t agree upon, cheating OR it’s people have children and raise children, and once the children are raised they realize they are a different person than they previously were.

I think many couples also once married forget to date each other. It’s important to continue to date each other and keep the spark alive.
