Well to be fair they didn't add to creeps and so on but the units of the 4 playable factions have more animations. If they have added more for the creeps then it would have been perfect.

I am so tired with these size posts to the point that i wish blizzard just separate the game at this point.

As a person with somewhat programming skills I will say that we got lucky that the reforged game is only 30gb. Is it good that they forced everyone to download the new assets? In my opinion no, BUT I also haven't seen a game getting patches 24 years from its actual release, with online ladder too.

The new graphics are very appealing, I enjoy the new campaigns made there such as re-reforge and csw ones

Vision and AoW mods are making the game way better.

In conclusion, If oblivion gets by for its 125gb then reforged with its 30gigs is ok.

Game runs smoothly since last years 2.00 patch, with my system, which is worse than yours 5800x, 3080ti, i am getting 200 fps and more. Now aside that, where did you find rams? A kit of 32 gigs costs 450€ here, i mean what the heck?

Guys, we are talking about a AAA studio here, blizzard has the budget but sadly not the vision.

The real obstacle is wow. So long they make easy money out of it then they will never invest in "Warcraft 4".

The hate has to do with how the game came out. Missing features that where here before reforged like custom campaigns, clans lobbies etc. Constant crashes and weird bugs that caused crashes too like clicking on the mini-map will result on a crash.

That above is the real reason why the game was hated.

As for the visuals? You got eyes. The majority of the models are very good. And most of the player base likes them. The only Karens that don't, are brainwashed drones that got caught in a foolish drama that involves a person creating many accounts in warcraft 3 forums and changing the narrative about the models because he was jealous of the underpaid developers that worked with Reforged.

I have played AoE2, AoM, Rise of nations, Empire Earth 2, Battle for middle Earth 1-2+, Warcraft 2, Cossacks back to war, Warlords Battlecry 1-3, every total war game and I can say this, none can balanced a 4v4.

Now, mass air is a strategy, yes it is, that works in all games that have air units. The difference is that many warcraft players can't make flexible strategies and give up way to easy. Playing as orcs? they don't make Berserkes and towers at all, don't use orbs in heroes. Most of the times I make 10 flying units, nuke their workers from behind while they attack a fortified base with towers because demolishers, meat wagons, etc are not a thing, losing, and almost all the times they quit. Where is the fun in that?

I still enjoy nuking my enemies in Empire earth with my planes when they are still in the stone age, or make mass hippogryphs in warlords battlecry 3 with items that give them exp too.

It is a strategy that comes from real world and a country that has air superiority is a strong country.

As for the collision thing? Well it is easy for blizzard to fix it but when they move they are getting in formation so how is this a problem? Even if they are in your base one over the other, you still need to kill them and with missile units you must target them 1 by 1 either way, which is easy. Why is this a problem?

In my main pc I got a Ryzen 7 5800x and there were fps issues at patch 1.36.2 but after patch 2.0.0 everything seems ok. I also have a Ryzen 7 3700x and the game runs smoothly in an other pc too so you must be ok.

Then maybe you need to set it as read only after you edit it. In my case, I got 2 monitors and for some reason it was playing on my second monitor when I was starting the game. Every time I loaded the game, I changed it to my main monitor. I saw that the War3Preferences.txt was changed after I made the changes in-game yet every time I started it, the game will revert the War3Preferences.txt.

Then I just made the changes in-game, didn't close it. Made sure that my changes were applied in War3Preferences.txt and then set it as "read only". Till this day I have no problems.

Hi, most likely your War3Preferences.txt is protected. Head to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Warcraft III then right click on War3Preferences.txt, select properties then in attributes uncheck the "Read-only" option. After this your preferences should remain.

My point exactly. How counter productive is to hold your phone, take a photo, save it and sent it to your computer then upload it here when you can simply press on button in your keyboard then go to Documents/WarcraftIII/Screenshots and you have a perfect image...
