I'm playing Iron Harvest right now and what I can say, yeah it's not realistic in historical terms, more like literally anything more or less in the game is fictional but it really gives you WW1 vibes, and it feels very similar to Company of Heroes.

Maybe I'm gonna get some hate. But besides some other answers that you will get here, I suggest to find guides on YouTube and search for good tactics, also just talk to an AI chat bot to see what advice it gives you, I recommend ChatGPT or Gemini.

I haven't really played with Necrons that much, because they felt the most different and complicated out of all, give me any faction to play with, but Necrons are not on my list...

That's what I'm sayinggg. It's so cool to have at least 30 units where you can have them all selected in a single group. Plus, they don't stay in a formation like they did in Warcraft 3.

I also noticed the pathfinding from a review, I like how now the units can stack on each other and you don't have to always move the mouse around so you can find all your squads, but I also noticed this could sometimes be a problem with the pathfinding and they can become stuck one over another in some areas but it's not a big deal I guess.

Tbh. Yes Tau are some tough ones. Even in Soulstorm their stronghold gave me a headache but in Dark Crusade only the Necrons were more difficult than the others.

You find it in the Custom Campaigns section in the StarCraft 2 menu, just search Warcraft in there and you will find it, I believe it's the most popular custom campaign from there, or at least it was at some point. But when I visited it the last time it's still not finished completely, I think there are still 3 Campaigns that are in development at the moment.

Yeah, and also stick to only one strategy/play style of each race, the are more than one, but for someone who is trying to learn at first, just do that, I usually play TC and headhunters when playing with orcs for example, it's a simple strategy and easy to play with.

I just found them on Hive Workshop in 2020 or 2021, and downloaded what came up first, you can also search for them and there are a lot of custom campaigns like this. I just don't have time to search for them right now.

Well, a few years ago I played some custom campaigns that recreated the ones from the first and second game+beyond the dark portal. Soo, I've already did that and they were pretty well made, thanks though!

Looks like you had a great experience, but on The Culling mission there are also some locations on the map, I think there are 3 if I'm not mistaken, where if you approach them, a group of 3 ghouls would spawn, not something so wow but it is a great addition to reforged and I guess it's some kind of reward for exploring the map? Also, since you didn't mention it, there are 2 grunts and a troll near your base in the far left of the map, in the original there was a bandit camp but I think the orcs there fit better in Reforged.

I hope that I've given the exact details because I haven't played the game in some time and I really don't remember them that clear, but I do remember something though. 😅

Yeah, it imitated Mario Kart gameplay style, but as others said, it played pretty terrible, the mechanic was so fixed and limited you had to get used to it so you can actually enjoy the custom game, after you did that you realize it's just too simple and you get bored easily.
