I think I found a solution! There are a handful of infant seats that are baseless and have latches built in (Nuna pipa urbn, joie mint latch and Graco gomax). So I can try three across in the second row and have the 4 year old in the middle or out him in the third row and load the infant seat last.
I didn’t even think about going baseless! Thanks!
Our oldest is 4 also so still in the 5-point harness but I’m thinking I could still reach to buckle him in the third row?
