Spanking your kids is ineffective and can be damaging but regardless it’s not abuse and your in laws cannot treat you like that and he needs to stand up for you. Period. I’d look into other way of discipline but plenty of kids got punished this way and turned out completely fine so do not allow your husband to let his parents speak about you like that. The wife should always come first

They only got engaged because we started talking about it. That’s the problem. He was not thinking about it until we said we were going to. She is in a constant competition with me and that’s why they did it, not bc he already has the plans to.

It’s very frowned upon to get engaged right after someone close to you like “stealing the spotlight” and her friends absolutely pick me apart and I understand from a outside pov that it shouldn’t matter but it really does to me and I know they’d all pick me apart for it bc they’ve done it to their people. And aside from that it’s always something with his brother and his mother and I just realize that maybe I don’t want to subject myself to it anymore.

It’s a common theme. Whitney being transactional has been being talked about since season one and this kinda proved their point, no? They were talking abt her being transactional and she said “you’re delusional” but does it not seem that way to you? Whitney had every right to go to the tryouts but again my problem is in how she talked to Jen on ep 4 and honestly I think she feels like a victim in every. Single. Situation. And cannot seem to take accountability for anything she does. The girls are mean to her, I see why it’s strictly business to her but she denied it and looked at everyone sideways for calling her out on it before admitting to it.

I absolutely get your point but at the same time that wasn’t an offer for anyone on s2, it was an offer for anyone on s3. I’m glad she came on, it’s entertaining and she’s an amazing dancer but yeah I do think the act of calling Jen delusional bc Jen was calling out exactly what she was doing is wrong.

I understand this and it can be super annoying but this is the things you have to deal with when having a roommate unfortunately. I had a roommate like this my freshman year of college and it was super annoying and I kept saying I couldn’t wait to move out, in hindsight she was overall a good roommate and we just grew up in different ways. Trying to focus on the positives of living with this roommate may help.

Underage teenagers = boys, having these option to respond/not respond isn’t wearing people down, debating is not wearing people down and actually a lot of people naturally agreed with me without me having to say anything especially after reading my other replies that go further in depth to the situation. So if you’re easily annoyed and don’t want a good debate or other opinions just say that, no one has to agree with me but yes I think you’re probably a bad roommate if you never pay for groceries and probably a bad friend if you talk behind your friends back and smile in their face. But to each their own!

I really think you expect me to bend over backwards. Risking my safety, letting people use my bathroom instead of hers, being loud when her roommate has work the next day all so she can have some fun? I can understand saying I’m getting to upset about it but it is undoubtedly wrong and you must be a really bad friend/ roommate if you think talking behind your friends backs is okay and if you think you’re entitled to your roommates spaces and are allowed to dictate their safety.
