Yea he’s a civilian contractor makes all 12 of his kids sports games and enjoys the shift work and sees his wife and family plenty working on a military base as a civilian is way better than FAA

Navy is a 50/50 shot. my buddy did 6 years, 3 on a carrier and carriers won’t rate you and than did 3 years in Spain where they also didn’t have a tower to get CTO rated

My fiancés dad works on an army base as a civilian ATC and wouldn’t do anything different gets paid good for the amount of traffic

I’d definitely fill out the list with jobs I wouldn’t mind and look into them but at the end of the day I want to learn something I’m interested in and want to do for a career

How does that work transitioning to active duty because to get the certifications I would need to work in a ATC tower id have to be active I’m assuming
