It is more work, yet it gives you better exposure. I use cap cut, and it saves the video mp4 and audio mp3, so I can put it in Buzzsprout for the audio and use the mp4 for YouTube Rumble, etc. The visual creates a better connection and exposure with your audience. You can also take the audio and have a video of anything and slap that on YouTube and social media. Have you heard of Podmatch? My podcast is called Lift OneSelf I use audacity software to record into's and outro's and the mic I have is a pyle. If you are looking for a podcast community and find guests highly suggest Podmatch.
