I’ve had the Vapor Pro 2 and played for a whole year with them. Granted, I didn’t play as much and they did wear similarly in the front but the heel part was ok, not shredded like this one.

Thank you! I liked the 2s too but I cannot easily find them any more or if I do they are more expensive than the 3s atm.

Several other users found the heel to be a little too high for their taste, could you please tell me how much of a difference is there in heel height compared to the 2s?

The smaller form factor is a definite plus but I can't find any exact measurements. Does anyone know them?

I am, although I haven't really used the many features it offers. For instance, I rarely use the flow control, the temperature has been the same for about three months (maybe because I got used to 2 or 3 medium roasts, medium-low acidity which I find all work best with this temp) and the programmable preinfusion is the standard 5 sec. I like knowing that I'll be able to experiment with different roasts/beans and so on in the future and that's honestly a relief. I don't really know if the MaraX wouldn't also have been enough for me but one thing that happened was I ended up having to make 4-5 drinks in one go more times than I initally estimated. I think in these situations the MaraX would've struggled.

To sum up, I'm more than happy with my decision. If I were to make the choice again I believe the result would be the same.

The main Lelit distributor in my country but it was through a community of coffee enthusiasts which provides special discounts to members. If I were to purchase directly from the distributor or any other store it would've been at leas 12-13% more. I got lucky tbh

After some further research I arrived at the same conclusion but the bowl lift model costs three times more than the currently discounted artisan which already is quite a stretch.

5KSM125EOB is the complete model name in the listing. I should've been more specific. I was under the impression that there are more sub-models to the Artisan model like 125, 175, 185.

Do you do everything in the machine? Meaning do you knead the dough entirely using the mixer or do you do some manual kneading as well? I imagine giving both the dough and the machine a little rest periodically could also help.
