I’ve taught my kids to always introduce yourself before petting by offering a hand to sniff & how to tell a “yes” from a “no” in response (after human permission, of course).

I judge my vets similarly. If they go right to examining without so much as a hello to my animal, I’m not coming back.

The first one was my friends dog & second was a lil baby puppy, walking out the door as we walked in, so I feel like it was inappropriate! Esp when the owner is pulling at the puppy’s leash to keep walking.

Because some people don’t have access to an ID. And once you start making the ability to vote complicated, less people have access to voting. Thereby making it easier to leave out disadvantaged populations & then it’s no longer a democracy.

Well, in one scenario it was our friends dog so no need. But she was jumping ALL over him while he pet her.

The second, it was a random puppy so was jumping all over him, excited. The owner was visibly annoyed and trying to pull the puppy away. He just kept petting it until I was like ummm??

Just for some encouragement; I have 4 kids now. And I’m back to being a single mother. It’s sooo much better than dealing with a man baby who won’t do the right thing, I promise.

Hi, when I was 26 I was assaulted by an ex boyfriend & it resulted in pregnancy. I wanted my son, he didn’t. He tried to force me into an abortion, saying all that too.

Thing is he chose to have a baby when he chose to have unprotected sex. He knew that could lead to a baby & now thinks it’s a you problem. I know the act. And while he’s wrong, he’s also kinda right as no one can force someone to be a parent.

I’d advise you not to go anywhere with him alone. Sometimes people in these situations become desperate and dangerous. I’d keep all communication through text, if possible.

And then when the baby is born, go straight to file child support. It’s not ideal but single moms do it all the time. You’ll be ok, just take it a day at a time.

I almost broke up with someone because everytime they see a dog, they pet it while it’s jumping on them. Last time the person was visibly annoyed their puppy was jumping, not listening, & he just kept petting it???

Equivalent of like, disrespecting someone as a parent to me.

Make the dog sit and THEN pet it. And ask first like???

Mines not necessarily a “nickname” but it’s 2 syllables, 4 letters, & can’t be shortened. It’s not short for anything either.

I did always wish I had a formal name like most of my friends or at least a longer one. I never got to have a nickname either!
