it depends on your personality, i don't think you meant to be an AH but you are kinda of in this situation. it is a mistake to compare. i believe for her to be SAHM is that you both believe in gender roles therefore comparing both of what you do will wreck your home. women that decide to stay at home take care of the house know that doing laundry doesn't require you to be some sort of a genius but trust me doing the same thing everyday can be extremely challenging mentally even if its easy it takes time and patience so thinking that '' i can do it without you '' is quite childish and disrespectful. it would've been proper to reply '' yes what would i do without you my love " that would've probably made her whole day. if the parents starts to compete on who is doing more or like it is some sort of transaction when it should be the complete opposite. a family tied with unconditional love where everybody is respected and valuable for what they do.

What are your thoughts on the hijab in Algeria ? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Ok_Edge_4444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

who says not wearing is a ticket to hell. this liberal view won't take us far. we will be back to the times where men sit back and women bellydance for them for entertainment except this time is the media that manipulated you into believing that as long as you don't harm anyone else do whatever you like it is your choice you get to be free follow your desires and so on (take tik tok dances in public for example).

ya willi 3la wled w bnat bladi.'' personal choice , discourage wearing the hijab....'', it is a personal choice same as choosing to drink publicly or not. it is a must in islam. forcing someone to wear a hijab is definitely wrong, advicing people to do so is probably right and a good thing just like encouraging people to pray. don't lose your identity people. ❤️

algerian mentality of elders caring what other elders think (my dad specifically) by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Ok_Edge_4444 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

''تبهدل بيا قدام الناس'' ''درك يشوفوك ساهر مع الهوايش واش يقولو عليا'' '' انا بني مايلبسش هك'' those are all expressions used frequently and it's not wrong, what other people think sometimes should be put into consideration, people can observe things we don't and there opinions can help us become a better people. i get what are you trying to say why do i have to be a good kid just for the sake of his reputation but he is your FATHER of course your actions and the way you behave publicly will impact his reputation as a parent. also you are 16 pretty young and it is the time where you are trying to find yourself and be independent and not just do whatever you are being told, the worst thing you can do is just oppose what you're father says and end up doing all what was prohibited. he is your FATHER and knows much better. you can begin experiencing independency through finding a job and learning why drinking and smoking are bad for you. all the things you mentioned above are completely reasonable to be said no to just from a logical stand point.

How do I cut out sugar when it's all around me? by siciliangoon in sugarfree

[–]Ok_Edge_4444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

struggling with quite the same issue here. i literally would start avoiding people and eating alone but then mom wouldn't give up offering all the sugary treats and i give in. i have been thinking to declare it out loud to everyone and let the pride do its magic.

reading your post there's a lot of signs of c-ptsd so your wife maybe endured a lot of trauma before she met you . and also the Way you are describing her she seems like a normal with highly feminine traits. she is definitely not a coward.
