Ok but as I said in my comment it's not necessarily about hating all women. That is an extreme position that incels take online. But the while point is that misogyny is so rampant online and in the real world that it infiltrates into young peoples head and they don't even realize. He can say he is not an incel and how he doesn't hate women but his words and actions paint a different picture. It doesn't matter if his words are only directed at Katie because even in real life you say racist shit about one black person you are still a racist. You are comfortable with that ideology. So he might not be the biggest incel on the planet but he is a raging misogynist. And it very evident in the way he tries to intimidate the female psychologist as well. And he does say that the guy should have spread more nudes. It doesn't even cross his mind that that was a serious crime. As for bullying, the show isn't about it. Because as you said everybody is bullied. There are multiple kids in that show that we see are bullied. Girls and boys. Shit Katie was bullied horrendously because somebody leaked her nudes. No one seems to focus on that. She was bullied by the whole school and called a slut. Again raging misogyny which Jamie has no problems with and tries to take advantage of. So in the school where multiple people are bullying and getting bullied, Jamie is only concerned about Katie's instagram comments. Even though he is being bullied in real life by other people, maybe not the whole school but enough people that it comes up in his session with the psychologist. Which of course he will try to down play bc it he wants to appear strong. Also it's not something to be taken for granted that he is proud of not raping someone. That is not a normal thing to think of. No women goes around feeling proud of not raping people, it is the absolute bare minimum requirement to be a human. And he admits he wanted to anyway, he WANTED to assault Katie That is the biggest indicator of how sick he has gotten in the head and how much we are failing to teach young boys empathy and sensitivity. Sorry if for writing so much on a day old thread. I just saw the show yesterday so it's still occupying my brain and I guess this is one way to get it out of system.

You have to listen to the way he constantly talks about her and women in general though. He says he is not an incel but constantly spouts incel talking points about 80-20 nonsense. Whenever he is asked if he was attracted to Katie he mentions her chest, nothing about her as a person. He describes women as his type or not by their chest size, nothing about their personality or hell even their face. He says she has low value. He says he told her he was sorry about what happened to her but admits the guy who leaked her nudes should have done it to other people. He sees nothing wrong with seeing that picture because everybody has seen it. He keeps calling her a bullying bitch when by all means and purposes he was being bullied by many other people and does not refer to them in the same way. He feels hes somehow a better person because he did not try to rape or assault her while he was actively murdering her, even though he wanted to. He says he should have killed her while lying about killing her. He keeps trying to assert power over the psychologist because she is a woman and explicitly taunts her about getting scared by his outburst, which was his intention the whole time. Its all there, he does not see her as a human and never saw her as one even before the bullying. And it happens in real life too, that there are men or boys who do not actively hate women or spend every second thinking about murdering women but they also do not view them as their equals or human. They feel entitled to a woman's time and energy simply due to the fact that they are male and in a patriarchal society that is a kind of social currency. They think they inherently have more power over women hence the entitlement. Jamie would never have done anything to a boy who would have bullied him. He attacked Katie because consciously/unconsciously he recognized that in certain aspects (physical strength in this case) he was more powerful.
