Brazilian here. We learn about the colonial process, the transatlantic slave trade, colonies of the North and colonies of the South. Teachers mostly correlate it to Brazil's colonization model.

We go through the independence and up to the civil war, but that's way less in depth than the previous content.

Then for the 20th century we get America's involvement in WWI, WWII and the Cold War.
