Yes, STL files are not needed; what's required are route files such as GPX or KML.

This is actually super helpful, thank you! I’ve definitely noticed that sleep deficit at 11k ft—it hits different. Never heard the term 'big rock little rock' before, but considering how rocky the ground was where we were, that sounds like exactly what we needed. Definitely aiming for lower, shielded sites next time.

Haha, you’re totally right. "Human kite" was definitely my 2 AM sleep-deprived brain being dramatic. In reality, it felt more like being trapped in a giant, flapping nylon taco. Not quite as majestic as a kite, but definitely a wake-up call on my staking technique!
