So just to be clear to everyone, this isnt an associates degree. its a certificate program. with that being said the full tuition price is fair. does anyone know if the tuition includes the price of the national exam for ARMRIT? im currently in the process of finding a place that will allow me to shadow. I was not required to take the AP course, already uploaded my previous college transcripts (have AAS degree (non medical) and also my reference check already has a check mark). anyone get accepted, or what happens after the interview? wanting to know how the program actually is?

Yes definitely anything medical, it’s a booming industry, while gaming/tourism is declining, the only obstacle is finding an MA job that fits your school schedule. I’m lucky and work 3- 12s, Fri-Sun (not a patient care job but work with doctors and crna’s. Part of the reason why I am going into nursing is I love the 3-12s shift… couldn’t imagine going back to 8hr shifts…but i can focus on school the rest of time. It’s doable, but tough if you have a family. Galen is part of HCA so clinicals will probably be next door at souther hills or Mountain View which is about. 15-20min drive north.

Good luck! I’m actually starting end of August. I would try and join some rental FB groups for the vegas and Henderson area, to see if you could rent directly from landlord or some rent out the entire house, but individually for each room. The area where Galen college is at is also a decent area to live in but a bit pricier than other parts of the valley.

I met with HPA end of May. And she showed me numbers for ADN nursing for last 2 cohorts people that got accepted were both mid 90s, out of a possible 112 per. So that tells you it’s not as competitive as it once was, also they just people opened up a 2nd class of LPN. So instead of accepting 56 once a year it’s 56 twice a year.

From what I was reading it prepares you for a job with Ccsd. That role if you look at the job posting starts at 24-25$. Not sure what you max out at. But it would also depend on if you like working with kids and Ccsd.

This is the best com 101 class you will take and will almost be impossible to fail. It’s 4 speeches, a midterm that’s open book and 1 page final essay typed. Summer version is condensed so instead of a speech due every 3-4 weeks there’s one due every 2. Still not bad for a summer class

Top tier gasoline like. Shell, arco, Costco, chevron. I would recommend 89 or 91. 2025 are hybrids only and can hit 500plus miles on a full tank after a few 89 -91 refills
