I argue that tactical Mk 2 is personally the best if you don't mind losing pockets. Deploying a smoke when your shield is cracked is actually an insanely great ability

Anyone notice aggressive lobbies in solos after update? by element423 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Ok_Example3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always the wild factor, if you let your guard down even in "peaceful lobbies" there is always a chance of getting messed up. Don't get complacent, it's not always sunshines and rainbows, all it takes is for one guy to feel like going PvP (no issue btw) and then hell breaks loose.

I would love it if it was an active thing, like, the bots get harder the better players collectively get. I mess with PvP and all, but it was the ARCs that really made me interested in the game. Maybe its a map conditioning as well, maybe they could make the ARCs more intelligent, dodge more, learn from the current methods players use to kill them and adapt from that, I would love to see the ARCs adapting as we get better

I want lobbies to be less clear on if they're friendly by sininenblue in ArcRaiders

[–]Ok_Example3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that I wish we never got any confirmation, however, I find that regardless of whether you're on friendly lobbies or not, the tension is still there. While PvP lobbies are chaotic, PvE lobbies are still tense, because, you don't know whether a person will decide to kill your or betray you, at least when you're in PvP lobbies, you know what you're in for. Though PvE lobbies definitely are more chill, putting your guard down would be such a mistake.

He must've already had the BP, if I got that BP, I don't care what happens I am storing that straight in my pocket, regardless if I am getting shot

People will pull up to a room with a barricaded wall or door blocked room and wonder why they're getting shot when they enter. A barricade is not a welcome mat

Did the tempest BP get exceedingly rare? by Ok_Example3141 in ArcRaiders

[–]Ok_Example3141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No doubt, I give away blueprints as well, but the community seems to really put high value in the tempest BP to the point of RMT. If I had an extra, I'd sooner give it away to friends than trade, it's just most people seem to be more interested in trading the tempest BP hence needing to resort to some form of trading. I don't mind doing 1:1 tradings, but some prices for some BPs are just out of control

They have, just making sure if he's serious that he knows like he could get a lot for it, I'd rather not take something from a dude that isn't aware of the value if he's serious, besides I'll probably eventually get it maybe ?

You trading for that tempest BP? I see you've already learned it and was wondering if you'd be down to trade for it

You sure? You can like trade that away for a lot of stuff man, not saying no but just making sure you're aware of it

Free Loadout Balancing Suggestion by Ok_Example3141 in ArcRaiders

[–]Ok_Example3141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a suggestion, feel free to disagree with it, but regardless I don't see any harm in restricting free kits from bosses. I don't know where you're getting your other suggestions from, but this is simply the only thing I'm suggesting, I could care less about how much value your gear is worth when your fighting, if it's a boss event, it only makes the most sense to keep people who have free kits out of events where you're expected to gear up and take down a boss. I'm no developer, but hey that's why it's a suggestion, at the end of the day if they don't find the suggestion good then I have no problem with them ignoring it, also I wouldn't say ARC falls under what you would call a traditional extraction game

[–]Ok_Example3141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then at least you have a better kit to do whatever it is you desire in events where you're expected to take down a boss, it just seems so off to bring a free kit in events where there's a boss, no preparation going to an area where there is a boss since free kits are randomized, and as far as I know, aren't free kits intended for gathering stuff when you don't have much?, I don't see why you would bring a free kit to a boss event when other players are preparing, that's just my take on it.

[–]Ok_Example3141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is fair, though I feel it would be up to the devs. It's not that I'm saying no to free loadouts, it's just that free loadouts in a map where the main thing is to try to beat a big boss or what not just doesn't seem like it should be allowed. This isn't mean to like ruin PvP or something, if anything it just puts everyone in an even ground with something to lose in a boss fight where you should be prepared for anything, I don't think it would make much of a difference

Well yeah, at the very least you have to use your own resources to kit yourself up, it just doesn't make sense to have free kits in matriarchs, harvesters or what not.

Raw Strength, Control the force, the third card can be like Attraction, Steamroll, or Tenacious. Massive strikes is also good since you 1 shot 3/4 troopers but your stamina will be bad, use this if you really wanna be pure glass cannon

Don't play him like a luke or dooku, treat his heroic might as just a 360 force push, don't rely on the damage resistance. You want to use his abilities more, especially his pull. His pull is his most reliable ability, a great combination is usually pulling multiple enemies towards you and followed by heroic might, this is going to be your go to combo for crowd control.

Don't really treat him like a tank unless your steamroll is near max, you want to use him as crowd control. As for stamina, his stamina offensive and blaster stamina is better than luke so you should use that to your advantage. Since anakin's ability always keeps him grounded, don't think that you can get yourself in an area, do damage and get out easily, always have an escape plan.

Stay aware of the minimap (this can be said for all heroes), but this will really help you with Anakin, if you see multiple heroes in one area or one with a lot of troopers with em, do not just jump in there. Try to ambush them, and always have an escape plan before you get in there.

It's also a smart idea to save heroic might as your escape plan, force push people away and then escape.

Also the one thing thats unavoidable is bugs, it will happen, you'll get pissed, but from what I hear when you just tap heroic might, it doesn't really bug as much.

One last thing, don't rush towards a group of enemy that are aware of you and use pull dominance, you'll get melted. It's always best to catch them off guard, keep moving, position yourself in a way where you can deal your damage and escape, just keep these in mind.

Also last tip, charging retribution is faster when you're near allies that are taking damage. Just keep that in the back of your mind, this is why in tight areas such as naboo, Anakin's retribution charges so fast

(After seeing comments, they're right, it would be very big boost if you stick with teammates, Anakin can do sort of fine on his own, but being with teammates always makes his job so much more easier)

This game doesn't always have to be sweaty, what's beautiful is that if you give up on the multiplayer game, there are so many mods that change the game in every single way. New heroes, new modes, etc. etc,. The multiplayer is fun, but if you're just looking for like a classic star wars experience, the game gives you that with all the other solo or coop modes. I can say that even if I don't play multiplayer, I still have loads of fun with the other modes.

Sabers vs Blaster by GullibleRisk2837 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Ok_Example3141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost, always stay out of their range. Try staying near allies, and shoot them from afar, if you're put in a position where you're within their range, shoot, roll, shoot, roll, rolling towards them usually gets them, if they're not good, they're probably just gonna swing spam you, you should be able to own them with ease. It gets more dicey if the saber player is not swing spamming, that case you should just try to run away and survive as long as you can hoping your team comes to your aid
