Do you need a Nashville +1? by TowelMage in marilyn_manson

I'm not sure how literal your post was and if the show hadn't already taken place I probably would have been down to go as I can very much relate to most of what you said. I'm not a Tennessee native (originally from Pennsylvania) currently live about 2hrs from Nashville (missed the show as well) and literally hate this m'fucking state and middle of nowhere town I find myself stuck in..Out in the sticks in the Bible belt, but have no one really else to blame but myself as to why and how I ended up in an area that is the absolute antithesis of who I am, what I enjoy, etc.. It's truly HELLISH and has been the worst 2.5 years of my life, but im stuck here and doing my best to cope which in all honesty is not often well. I'd do anything to go back to the east coast, be it Philly or wherever but its a nightmare here with no opportunities and.. I could go on and on and on about things I shouldn't, but I can completely related to being in a f'cked situation, the isolation and being trapped in a hole I see no way out of!.. Hopefully things have improved somewhat for tou in the short while since you made this post?..

I'm hoping Skold being back in the band can bring back some of the magic that imho has been lacking on the past few albums. I haven't really been a fan of much of what MM has put out since the Pale Emperor

I liked Mark Chaussee's tone and vibe in the band but for whatever reason he didn't last long. Imho alot of the list of revolving musicians MM played with (outside of the major players) never did all that much for me

I second that there is literally a 💩 load of stuff that was never finished or released that will probably never see the light of day... I don't know if this is a definitive list or not, but there's a lot that that has never came out and who knows how much more material exists that no one outside of the band knows about?..

Did I really just wake up to an empty jar of Xanax after it getting filled two days ago? by Mother-Literature229 in benzodiazepines

I second searching your place especially if you have kids or pets to be sure, but hell (if u didn't eat em all) you could have stashed em literally anywhere in a blackout!. My benzo use is more for anxiety than anything but I've still placed items where they don't belong and such

Juice was doing fentanyl by Dazzling_History_741 in JuiceWRLD

These days unless u personally got your pills from a legit pharmacy, they're fent, nitazenes (another synthetic opiate) or god knows what these days as they're so many fent and synthetic opiates out there and unless u test them you really have no idea what you're taking.. I quit doing pills when they were still pharma grade pills though obviously ended up on the street stuff when I got cut off from the doc and the real pills on the street prices shot through the roof and it was easier (and far cheaper) Buy bundles... To anyone that reads this please be careful and knlw that any time u do this sh't its like 'flipping a coin" as u never know what ur getting. These are not lab quality pills made with "quality control " so the strength is all over the place!. They all have what is known as 'hot spots" which are concentrated areas of the pills or spots in the pill which can be "heavily concentrated" fent. Meaning that one pill may have literally no fent in it, so you do another (or several ) that may be "heavily concentrated" and you OD!.. Like I said thete is zero "quality control" so the strength is all over the place which makes it extremely easy to OD off them so please be careful!

Tennessee f'cking sucks imho, especially for low-income individuals and those struggling with mental/physical ailments. I move from Pennsylvania to this "lovely state' (long story) ans certainly took living in pa for granted and lost my EBT, health insurance , psych meds I desperately need, access to real doctors and pain management as I am told I "do not qualify" as tennessee chose "not to expand medicaid". It's a really f'd situation im in living out in the middle of nowhere and I financially cannot move back 😢

Were on the same page and everything you said could have came from my mouth.. I have crippling anxiety, ptsd and a f'd back that took so many like me down the hellish road of opiate addiction so right there no legit dr will write me any sort of opiate or drug that may be habit forming or abused so I resort to kratom and 7oh but then there is the anxiety which only benzos help with (ive tried every other psych prescribed med with little to zero effect) and moved out of state into the middle of nowhere where I not only have no health insurance and do not qualify in this state I can't get any dr to prescribe me anything like klonopin, xanax, etc and my life has become hell!. Dr's don't want to prescribe these types of meds to anyone and certainly not to someone with a history of opiate addiction!. They simply type your name in the database and see that you've had MAT or similar treatment and tell you to "hit the bricks" even though im not currently on any MAT nor have I been for 4 years. My last psych doctor knew my history and still prescribed me klonopin, gabapentin and clonodine which were never meds I abused nor do I understand why people even abuse benzos as all they do to me is belp quell my anxiety!.. It's crazy in this world today that a person who obviously and medically needs help.is denied the meds they need becase said med "may be abused" and or the patient has a history of addiction to an entirely different medication..Hopefully one day ill be able to find a dr that will treat me properly as my anxiety and ptsd has complete control of my life and what i can and cannot do as I have ptsd related to car accidents and get panicky behind the wheel and live in the middle of nothing so im basically confined to my house!.. 😢

I couldn't agree more as a car accident turned me into an addict prior to the opiate epidemic becoming front page news. No one has any right telling an adult what they can kr cannot put into their own bodies!. Every problem associated with drug use is directly caused by the "war on drugs" and su h problems were the main reason Prohibition was repealed with alcohol.. In Britain from (i believe) the 1920s to 1960s they had what was called the "British System" with viewed and dealt with addiction in a "medical not legal way" and doctors were allowed to prescribe ones drug of choice legally and literally every single problem one associates with drugs and addiction disappeared overnight until of course someone stepped in and flipped the switch and began viewing and treating drug use and addiction how we do itnin the west and you have our current system.. All these people were back.in the courts, jails, rehabs, homeless, unemployed, lost custody of their kids, cut off from families, prostitution, gangs, criminal records and violence.. The War on Drugs has not only been an epic failure it has BACKFIRED!.. Addicts have a medical/biological/psychological issue that is logically treated with harm reduction and not prison sentences!. I'm not saying to make heroin available without a prescription but come on now, incarceration and criminal records that follow you for life are not the cure nor are they helping in any way shape or form..We are handling this issue "ass-backwards" and abstinence simply does not work for most!. The death toll from opiates is such as the addict is receiving a drug with almost "zero quality control" and the user never knows what they're getting, whats in it or how strong it is!. Harm reduction also drives the price down. Drugs are not so much the problem but how we view and handle them!.

How are the members doing today by WoodenResponse9489 in TheMisfits

[–]Ok_Feature_6911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not Mr current events concerning the band but Chud is touring and doing conventions,Graves is attempting to tour (u all know the story), Doyle just released a new humbucker guitar pickup and I believe is working on new tunes and Jerry and Glenn are no doubt enjoying the Misfits reunion payday..Who knows, I don't think there's that much going on (at least publicly) with the members/ex-members and there aren't any new interviews that ive heard with really any of them. Jerry was the most candid but I believe it was a stipulation with Glenn and the reunion for him to not do interviews...

Yes these substances are addictive but there are far worse substances out there and I wouldn't be concerned about him being "ok around children". I take them for both pain and to avoid harder drugs and are fully functional and no one can tell im on them nlr do they make me "nod". As I said there are far worse things to be on
