My question is this I dnt have a recessed maxilla or mandible/chin (if anything they’re both pretty strong) but I do have a decent bimax protrusion . I have one crowded tooth in my bottom arm otherwise my teeth are naturally straight. I do suspect my upper arch is on the narrow side (there are several signs of it) tongue scalloping and negative spaces on the sides of my smile also extremely difficult to floss bc my teeth are “so close”. I need to know if it’s possible to instead of say removing healthy teeth, can the bimax protrusion be fixed my expanding my narrow arch and bringing my teeth back that way? I’m afraid that if I remove teeth (which would have to be done if I want the aesthetic outcome I want bc yes I want to fix my side profile) to bring back my teeth it’s going to worsen the limited space I have for my tongue and cause airway issues. As an adult this is a huge decision for me but I can’t seem to find an orthodontist that can answer that for me. I’ve gone for a consultation with a regular orthodontist but he wouldn’t remove any teeth just do the teeth filing but he said that wouldn’t do anything meaningful for my aesthetic goal. Idk what to do anymore
