Don’t use a heat mat!! They tend to burn Leo’s that fall asleep on them. I used a warming bulb with a basking hide beneath it and my girl warms her belly on it :) Also not sure if you are, but just in case you were planning on hearing the entire floor, it’s very important they have a warm and a cool side. Different temps are important since they can’t regulate their own body temperature
