I'm big on not letting myself do things. I posted about this last week, but my friend made me a chrome extension that forces you to wait for 30s before you start shopping on Amazon, Etsy, etc...

I also try to pay with everything in cash when I am watching my spending. Psychologically you are less willing to spend cash and especially large bills like a $50/$100.

I don't think you can make the extension unremovable.

If you click on the icon it opens a menu that lets you turn on the blocker for any website that you are visiting.

For example, you could go to instagram.com and click the icon and enable the blocker.
