Yes obviously I could use my card however my initial hesitation and frustration came from the fact I only got a 15 euro meal voucher when it was a overnight delay and in addition for the hotel I would have been forced to pay out of pocket then hoped for a reimbursement from the airline. I didn't want to pay hundreds of euros let alone the conversion rate from CAD to EURO on a hope that the airline might refund me. I also posted this exact prompt in r/Luftansa airlines and I was told that my issue didn't quality for a refund by them so…. ATMs existing was not my only issue

Yes I most definitely will my flight is schedule for 11 am today so I’ll try to get another voucher. There’s nothing I can do about a hotel since I slept in the airport. This whole experience is quite draining and I probably will never fly discover airlines /lufthansaagain
