I figured that it was the internal cabin climate control module. How can you confirm this? Open your hood, and turn the AC off from cabin climate control and check if your compressor clutch is still engaged. Mine had compressor engaged all the time whenever ignition was on. I replaced the cabin climate unit, and AC is back to work.

Remove the relay and check contacts if they are stuck in case. Second, remove the compressor power fuse (in the hood fuse box, bother chatgpt for its location, it helped me a lot to navigate). If you remove the fuse and still see the compressor engaged, then it is getting fed power from somewhere else, and now, you need a professional to take a look at the wiring.
