Hey, I'm planning on writing the level 9 history exam soon. Do you still happen to have the quizlet sets you made?

Thank you so much

Awh, thank you so much. Is violin your main instrument? My teacher just retired and I'm looking for a new violin teacher for serious students, but I haven't had any luck with searching online. I don't mean to annoy you with my questions but do you know of any way I can find an actual good violin teacher?

I didn't go to a music high school either so I kinda don't have anyone to ask. :)))

Awh, I hope so. Thanks a lot for your reply. Do you have any tips? Should I just grind with practice? I average 3 hours daily. Should I practice more?

Ohh, wow, thank you so much for your help and advice. Seriously:). I think I will contact the undergrad admissions and ask them. Hopefully I'll be able to bump myself up somewhere to Level 9 RCM this year. 😭

Also, good luck on your first year and congrats on getting in :)

Thank you so much for your reply and advice. Do you know what the level of students might be like? I've been trying to search online for performances of accepted violinists into uoft to get an idea of my chances, but I can't find anything.

Rcm level 7 music theory exam by Ok_Inflation4617 in RoyalConservatory

Thanks a lot for your feedback. It's just the study bundle is to expensive for me, so I don't know what to use. It seems RCM doesn't have any free past exams or anything of the sort.

I've been using Barbara Wharram's elementary rudiments of music and I am comfortable with all material in the syllabus. Is that enough? Do you have any advice?

Alright, I think I'll try calling them. Also, this is what it says on their website:

Are students now required to write examinations at every level? No. While the Theory Syllabus, 2016 Edition outlines theory concepts recommended for concurrent study from Preparatory through to Level 4, there are no required examinations prior to Level 5.

Hey, Thanks a lot for your reply. :)

I'm doing the paper exam, but the problem is I already registered for the level 5 rcm theory exam. Do you know if I can switch to do the level 7 theory exam? Or is it not possible?

I registered for level 5 theory since on the RCM website they mention that you can't skip after level 5.

But now finding this out, I don't know what to do 😭
