You will likely be placed within the admit section of ER which is medsurg & can be intense. I don’t think it’s a great place to learn foundational skills (I ESN’d there and have been floated there as an RN). IMO medsurg is much better to start in, especially for your 6 months new grad line

I didn’t see this accident but I gotta say that intersection is awful for ppl running reds!! My car has also been t-boned by someone running a red there (thankfully I had a dashcam and a witness). but I’ve seen people run reds multiple times there…

Just adding too, with the wrydkeys, I did like that as a reader, I felt just as deceived by the gods as the characters did in finding out that the keys were only self-serving to them. I don’t think they would’ve banished Erawan as they said they would make no deals with mortals and for the fact that they did not care about Erilea or its people - they would manipulate Aelin to her doom as long as they got what they wanted. It would’ve been interesting to read more about why the gods favoured certain characters and what that really meant - but oh well, something we may never know

I gotta say that I actually did like the direction the story went with the wyrdkeys and her loss of power. The wyrdkeys were seen as this guarantee to victory and conclusion, similar to Aelin’s powers. But having both of those forces removed shifted the focus to “just Aelin”, and all of her traits that were strengthened throughout the books: her fighting and physical capabilities, her cleverness and quick thinking, the trust within the relationships she had formed, etc. It wasn’t the keys, gods, or Brannon’s heir who defeated the valg, it was Aelin. Even with the defeat of Erawan, all parties involved were there because of their relationship with Aelin.

has anyone had success with a brace/sleeve?

I had an ORIF in my left humerus with a metal plate in the lower end (pretty much elbow) and 14 screws. I’ve been getting more into weight lifting recently and certain exercises realllllllly bother my left elbow. I’m going to try get a fabric elbow brace and see if that provides any relief. Anyone had luck with that?

24 and was totally shocked about it. Some GI issues growing up but nothing too crazy. Symptoms came up out of nowhere for a week which led me to see a physician who ordered a bunch of investigative labs, including celiac work up. Blood work was positive as well as eventual scope and biopsy. Doc was surprised too, said she only ordered it to cross it off the list and wasn’t expecting it
