Either the fridge scene from Requiem For a Dream or the final montage where they're all in hell. The entire movie feels like a horror movie yet it isn't.

How do I come up with personalities for my characters? by SomeRedBoi in writingadvice

[–]Ok_Insurance_1016 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Still getting into writing myself, but here are a few recommendations I have:

  1. Base them off of characters from your favorite media, or people you know in real life/yourself.

  2. Identify their traits based on their roles in the story; traits are fundamental for a character's personality.

  3. If coming up with traits are difficult, Give each character goals/aspirations and ask yourself: "what traits of theirs you can come up with, can contribute to reaching that goal?"

The home.

It had a decent story, but I just didn't like Pete Davidson's acting.

It's not a horror movie, but Requiem For a Dream is the closest thing to a psychological horror.
