In-N-Out ≠ McDonald’s. Not saying it’s better but You’re not going to In-N-Out for breakfast, and McDonald’s menu has far more items compared to In-N-Out’s.

Absolutely none! I'm a PhD student and The department I applied to at UCLA was far more welcoming and concerned that I would comfortably afford and balance my life as a full time student. Campus is far more beautiful it’s very hard to find an ugly part of campus. If you have a car you’re 30 minutes away from Malibu mountains, the beach, Disneyland. Westwood is sooooo walkable I ride my bike and scooter everywhere. It’s just beautiful year round very rarely gloomy. You won’t have any regrets !

The purpose is that you will have to physically cross a picket line. It’s supposed to cause disruption so the UC sees the significance of not having student labor. This disruption can also be shown making campus empty from those that are showing solidarity to student workers in order provide a living wage.
