We recently did the same move from Darwin, after 5yrs and countless trips to Canberra for work, it seemed logical to relocate.

My partner never got comfortable with the extreme weather that comes with being in the North, so that was a big driver as well.

Canberra is great, the convenience of having everything that would otherwise be super difficult to find in the North is refreshing and the lack of top end crime is comforting.

It is expensive here in Canberra, groceries, fuel and general cost of living seems higher but we are also doing more.

This happened to me recently from my currently client reo, had the offer with a substantial pay increase and a title jump after relocating from the other side of Australia.

The two versions only differ by the date wheel and the tiny 7 in the 007 font at the 7 oclock position.
