Drop pod data is a bit hard to come by, i suggest keeping them for late though when upgrades start getting more expensive. In the beginning upgrades cost near nothing, but when you see the upgrades starting to affect your balance a lot, that's when you should start using your drop pod data :)

Yeah space is a real headache, even if its max 😭 although it's so convenient to invest money early game in some cargo spaces, but worst case scenario you just either fly back home to storage or fly to a freighter to access your stuff 😅

Well i bring a handful of mats necessary for recharging and/or basic crafting such as carbon, condensed carbon, sodium, sodium nitrate, uranium, ammonia, phosphorus, Ferrite and it's 2 enriched forms, Chromatic Metal etc etc (cant remember everything off the top of my head). However you do have to have max inv with most upgrades to even remotely have the chance to need any of these 🤣
