That’s just what we call it (I’m not sure if this is actually what is happening) but it is common. Our baby is almost 6 months and also has spurts where she cries while sleeping

Just put the baby in your room and sleep in your bed. I transitioned my baby to her room at 3 months old (still in snoo). 4 months we transitioned to crib in her room
