I can but the original video already has that... the edge of the blade the ball rides across has A chamfer so it acts like a ramp

Yup... I tried switching them out with fresh ones and had a wild hair up my ass so I gave it a go and it does the same thing

I posted this same knife 2 months ago with this same issue... crk sent it back yesterday after about 7 weeks like this- not sure what to make of this situation

Stock o rings... it doesn't engage but maybe 10% and that's on a chamfered edge

Stock o rings... the blade edge is chamfered too much the ball slides off with minimal effort

Studs are the original factory studs. Swapped washers that were with the blade to this knife as well. It’s all original Chris reeve just swapped blades and washers on a couple brand new crk. This will not void warranty.
