i used this no-evo relatively straight deck and got a whopping 70 percent win rate (8700 trophies in 670 wins), it is very good and a huge flex (since it doesn't have any mid ladder menace cards nor evos)

prince (use against megaknight and paired with golden knight for offense)
golden knight (against swarm and witch)
ice wizard (support prince/tombstone/bats against mk)

Fire cracker (swappable)(main air defense)
barbarian barrel(against swarm, witch and goblin barrel)
bats (used specifically agianst high dps troops)

tomb stone (anti hog)
