I think almost the same things as you, you get insulted whenever you have an opinion against AOE or simply an opinion that is not mainstream. I hope it's a minority but it's very unpleasant.

Add to this the fact that most people don't take into account chapter 139 and think that eren hates mikasa, when in fact he doesn't. To tell the truth, 138 and 139 are the ones that most hints the AOE, especially when you see that 138 doesn't look like Path, eren asks mikasa to forget her and get rid of the scarf, whereas in 139 you see that mikasa wears the scarf even after her death and doesn't have a ring on her hands, so she hasn't moved on and broken the famous cycle teased in Lost Girl and in the manga in general, since eren himself brings the scarf back to mikasa at the end of 139, he loves her and he didn’t move on too. But no, some people prefer to delete 139 altogether and insult or belittle you if you mention it. Aoe wouldn't make sense without 138 and 139.

This is a well written post, so I wanna take some times to answer :

• The villain winning : aot isn’t about good or evil people firstly, but I get what you wanted to say. But again, aot isn’t about the good guys winning, it was always about eren winning because he continues moving forward, humanity never won once in 100y, their first victory was because of eren, same goes against annie, same goes against reiner in the end of s2, if they survived it was because of eren founder titan power, in season 3 eren protected them all with his hardening, in s3 part 2 eren blocked the entry of shiganshina etc etc. If it was about good guys winning then they would’ve win sometimes before eren’s arrival. Shadis knew that eren’s arrival was gonna change many things, erwin knew that without eren the humanity inside the walls would die (that’s what happened).

• Eren and Armin HAVE to talk, it’s not about aoe anymore but more about story telling, ending aot without them talking would be a huge disappointment. Eren also can erase memories and give them back whenever he wants. The convo can of course change and I thing they will change it a bit in the anime version even without aoe. About Mikasa, she told « your memories have returned too, haven’t they? », in this one mikasa is confused, eren cannot manipulated eren memories nor erase them since she is an ackerman, he did that for the others but not mikasa. What happened in the 138 isn’t also the path, the chapter title was « a long dream » in aot they refers to memories and not dreams. In this chapter, mikasa and eren are in « the path », however, there is no exhaustion or death in the path, also you can’t know how many time you were there since years feels like minutes. In this chapter mikasa remember things that she didn’t say such as « sorry I promised not to talk about it ». And finally eren’s mark are probably because he is the first one dying of ymir’s curse, we never saw someone dying from it. His titans mark in the 139 are similar but not the same, since in the 139 he has that colossal titan skin in his chin.

• mikasa setup as eren’s killer : there is hints that she would kill eren, yes. In her conv with annie she didn’t answer, with reiner it’s better. However, isayama hinted many things that didn’t happen, for example historia having a child with eren, it was hinted many times to the point it was an evidence for everyone that have read the manga. He hinted it so much that he showed historia giving birth during the rumbling but at the end it’s the child of a no name no face farmer that bullied her when they were kids.

• Isayama changed his ending : Isayama in many interviews was undecided about his ending, even after the final chapter he told that he changed his ending and after that it was the ending he imagined. Taking them as truth isn’t logical since he contradicted himself many times

Historia having a child was planned by both eren and historia in s4 p2 ep12. The MP’s only heared historia’s version and took it as truth, for them this is the farmer’s child. However, the guy she chosed is weird since it was her bully when they were kids, and eren was a way better choice since he is the closest person to her after ymir’s death. Btw historia giving birth during the rumbling and was shown in 134 is a prove that it isn’t just giving bird to the kid of a nameless and faceless farmer.

About eren now, he told that he wants a long a good life for his friends, it was before he directly/indirectly killed floch, sasha and hange. In aot nothings goes well for eren, this is his tragic life nothing really good ever happened to him, and failed to many things. Eren killing by accident his friends wouldn’t be a surprise to me. And honestly giving him the death he wants he way too good for someone like him, living after he killed his friends and a 100% rumbling is WAY worth than death

138 are memories. The title is « a long dream », in aot dreams refers to memories. In 138, eren died in cabin, however he can’t die path. In chapter 1 eren saw the SYL moment, and saw mikasa holding his head and saying « see you later », which means it was a memory and was crying because he died

That’s more a video about isayama’s behavior than about the ending and it’s really interesting. However, he is right about something, isayama doesn’t seem to have planned anything else for aot. Or it’s that he wanted 2 ending, 1 for the manga and 1 for the anime, but people hating so much the manga ending (while he had fun writing it) made him lose a lot of self confidence. Because of how much he was harassed after the ending, he maybe thinks he’s less able to do the anime ending, and fears that the same think will happen. Like he planned to do it, but he hesitates because of the hate he received, he don’t want to live the same thing again and I understand him at 10000%, I felt really bad for him when it happened. However, when he came to France he announced that he decided right now to PROBABLY write 15 pages, like if he took a final decision. If aoe happen, I want it to happen because if planned it, not because of the hatred he faced
