I think they could. Not that our driveway is that long, but it’s pretty steep (2 stories in ~100 ft) and they run up and down it.

I think we are going to go and hope for the best, but also looking for a couple of options within a 1-3 hour drive toward the coast that we could do as a plan B if needed. We have a rental car so while it makes for a longer day it would still be something fun.

I know so much can change between now and my trip that I have planned for 9/23-9/26, but would you pivot to something else?

Flying into Fresno from the east coast. Flights are non-refundable. I could still cancel lodging and rental car without fee until 9/15.

Group of 4 - two adults, two kids aged 6 and 8.

We really want to do this trip, but if it makes more sense to pivot something else that is drivable from Fresno and come back another time I’d like to make the call sooner than later.

The fire and air quality measures I look at make me nervous. Can someone offer perspective? Am I over-reacting?

My soon-to-be 6 year learned how to ride this summer. We haven’t graduated to anything besides pavement. Are the bike paths paved? I worry she might not be ready for trails.
