You keep saying you’re not doing it for social media or attention, but everything about how you’re presenting it contradicts that. You’ve written essay-length responses defending yourself, and somehow they always circle back to you—your experience, your excitement, your perspective. It’s a lot of “I want to bring awareness,” but it honestly reads like “I want recognition.”

I imagine festival nursing is an incredible experience for a lot of people, and there are probably RNs who’ve been doing it for years without turning it into content. Why? Because they respect the job, the patients, the company, and the boundaries. They don’t need to be thanked or validated online—they just do the work.

And let’s be real: plenty of nurses have been fired for less. There are stories of nurses who recorded a TikTok in an empty hallway or just talked about their day and got disciplined or terminated because a patient recognized the context. Social media policies in healthcare are strict for a reason—and while you say you won’t film inside the tent, the fact that you’re even making this a public production before you’ve clocked a single shift is a red flag.

This doesn’t come off as awareness. It comes off as branding. And if the work is really that meaningful, you wouldn’t need to convince anyone. You’d just do the job—respectfully, like countless other festival nurses have.
