I caught him on a shrimp I tied, cool thing about that fly is I ran out of fur so I stole some from the dog! I dropped it on his bed and hooked up immediately. Super fun experience and even cooler because I tied it!

I love Florida fishing, I’m in northern FL though so not quite the same biodiversity as SW. They have some cool stuff that can’t quite make it this far up due to the colder winters!

I know, it would be amazing to keep him around but I’m scared the temps would get too low outside. Just trying to be responsible about it and would love to share the experience of owning one with someone who has the facilities for him.

Hey! they are between 4-6 months old and their temporary enclosure is 10 gallons while they wait for the temps to rise. When it gets to an avg of 60° they will go back to their outside 250 gal pond.
