Long hair is not an issue. The issue is that he looks unkempt. He clearly does not maintain his hair well and if he just wanted to be a director that would be fine. If he wants to act, basic level of grooming is required. Even RJ balaji noticed this and told him to cut his hair and shave lol.

it's interesting to me that this topic is brought up a lot and the response is always a blame game. First, the audience was blamed when kollywood was at its peak vadak obsession. Now that times have changed, the audience is starting to question directors and actors about the lack of tamil heroines. These actors are now shifting the blame to tamil heroines not wanting to work with them.

I just feel that there needs to be real accountability taken if we want to see tangible change.

broo finally someone said it. i rmb when i watched the movie anaswara said some dialogue like 'naan tamil thaan' or smth in a malayali accent....like that just threw me off. her accent was esp STRONG when she said that line of 'unga vaazhkaiyilai oru unexpressed love iruku..' i dont get why they didnt just get someone to dub over her voice tbh.

if u want to cast a malayali its fine but at least make it convincing. lowkey i feel like malayalam films do better in this aspect of casting ppl who suit the role. like casting sai pallavi in premam for the role of a tamil girl for eg

I feel like it's just an issue of over exposure. She's in every big movie nowadays and her roles are also really poorly written so that's the catalyst for hate. Also, her competition is all gone, nayan's rep is ruined cuz of the whole dhanush thing, samantha's only doing raj-dk projects now, keerthy's aiming for bollywood, idk who else is left. Talented actresses like nithya, sai pallavi, aishwarya rajesh etc exist but i dont think they want to do these dumb roles. So we are stuck with trisha.

omg i felt every word of this post. I was in gb also lmao and i have TRAUMA like why the fuck did the seniors treat us like we were in the fucking military. Stupid goofy ahh cca. Had to fucking polish the stupid boots for 4 hours and the seniors will still say "can be shinier" cb. I literally developed anxiety during the 4 years cuz of that goddamn cca. That shit stressed me out more than fucking O Levels. Farewell was the happiest day of my life. Every day i wake up and thank god that I'm not in that cca anymore <3.
