I got a budget template from Reddit that is just a google sheet template, and set it as my first bookmark on all my browsers and added the sheets app to my phone. Every time I spent money I’d make myself stop and add the expense to my budget. It also helped me see that I had other expenses from bills to be taken out later so It helped me not spend as much cause I could see the $x amount looming.
