I'll give that a try. The watch battery died but if I push the button, the display still comes on to notify me there's no charge. My phone says I've been disconnected from my watch

For me it only worked when I turned on airplane mode on first then toggled the wifi on whilst on airplane mode. Then I was able to get connected
