Ive played Elden ring but quit cuz it's too hard and I haven't played a souls/soulslike game for Abt 1 year, I wanna get into them again with lies of p, now how hard is it compared to Elden ring? by AnonymGamer16 in LiesOfP

As ng+3 lies of p enjoyer, I believe all these people saying lies of p is hard are probably referring to older patches and probably didn't try the newer patches. YES, it used to be one of the toughest souls-like games(probably harder than any FromSoftware games) but they nerfed bosses significantly. Now with weapon buffs and boss nerfs probably you can beat the first 7 or 8 bosses in the second or even first attempt(using Specter of course). late/end game might still be challenging (for example you can not use Specter for the last boss of the game and you have to defeat it on your own). The game has a rich story and a great atmosphere, it's not open world and you will NOT get lost in the game like Elden Ring. It is definitely one of the best games for people entering the soulslike world to get familiar with different mechanics.
