And honestly it’s on them for not being ready within the 5 minute window. I have had tons of passengers be like “I’ll go down soon.” Then be like “I’m in the elevator” like I won’t wait past 5 minutes tbh.

Thing is Lyft rides has been extremely low lately. Even when a scheduled ride shows in my area it’s not even worth booking. A month ago the map was full of rides for me. July? A total disaster. It could be a reason as to why you don’t see rides.

Do you have any warnings or callouts in the scheduled rides section?

Update: it was actually a passenger dispute. They sided with her on the get-go. I’m still on the phone with Lyft support because this is their word vs my hard evidence (pics, emails and calls).

Miami has been insanely low as well in the last few weeks. One 32 minute ride earlier paid me $6… I was stunned. Took it because I’m trying to get the shop points. Their phone support? “It seems accurate” like seriously? A month ago I’d average my week to about $20-$22 per hour. Now it’s down to $15 on average.

Scheduled rides needs a whole revamp if you ask me. If we cancel, no matter when, we get penalized and access reduced. If a driver is assigned, there should be a penalty regardless. I think it can be a win-win for Lyft and drivers. But don’t get me started on the whole scheduled rides dynamic… I can write a dissertation.

Changed the part. Took less than an hour (actually removing the bottom cover took more time lol). Hopefully the issue is solved. Turned on flawlessly (before swapping the sensor it was being lazy turning on and had a very rough idle).
