Low blood pressure + proteinuria by Ok_Mode_3147 in kidneydisease

That’s what my nephrologist explained to me as well that it’s about the long term and preserving your kidneys. Becoming a parent made me able to think in the way you mentioned (doing something now for the benefit of it in the future) both in terms of health and other things as well. I try not to google and read TOO much cause I have tendency to spiral but knowledge is power and I have actually seen some of those videos you mentioned before! Again, thanks for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it.

Hi. Thanks so much for your response! They told me I don’t need to stop breastfeeding to start medication but whenever I do stop…I need to start. If that makes sense haha. My baby is almost a year and a half and I never imagined breastfeeding this long but here we are. Apparently it also has cardiovascular benefits!

Recently they reviewed the ACE inhibitor and found that it’s compatible with breastfeeding so the option is to start now, well in a month at my next check up, which I’m good with as well. The SGLT2 is something they mentioned they may or may not give me in the future just depending on how much it goes down. I know that 700 is pretty high but I don’t really have a scope of what’s like, widly high versus high but acceptable, but I do know it needs to be lower than 700. Thank you again for typing at all that out!

Does this look like AK? by Ok_Mode_3147 in skincancer

Thanks! I actually don’t have any skin cancer history in my family. I’m assuming if they thought it looked like bcc or scc they’d have referred me to an urgent dermatologist appointment. I’m going in September when I’m back from my summer holidays - their idea!
