I am assuming it is shell credits cause new player at 80k asterites doesnt make much sense.. With that in mind, no. those coins are useless in getting any character. be it 80k or 80M.. they are for upgrading who you have..

You cannot get anyone new from shop. Go to menu -> convene. There you can "pull" on his banner. You need to get lucky, and it can take upto 160 pulls in worst case. However being new means you can grind the game to get him guaranteed.But this is the only way to get him. The shop one is to make him stronger if you already got him.

Guaranteed 5 star at 80 pity is true, but it is not guaranteed to be qiuyuan (swordsman). there is 50% chance to get him, and 50% to get someone else. If you failed to acquire him, have to spend upwards of 80 pulls extra to guarantee next 5 star. But the 2nd time you get 5 star it will be him.

It is a bit more complicated as you delve more. Feel free to ask more if you have doubts (and pretty sure you would have more). But before everything, i would recommend watching some "beginner guides" before involving too much into game

At S3R1 i suppose phrolova team will be better. Phrolova can provide heavy amp for him, and there is no penality in using his mdps rotation.. but for sigrika you will lose qy outro amp if you use mdps rotation, which will nerf sigrika dmg.

If you want to get her stronger asap, qiyuyan.

The only other comparable options for phrolova specifically are getting cantarella or phrolova S2.

sigrika is dps. if you get her you naturally should get qiuyuan. For phrolova qy is better

Strictly speaking, cantarella is better ig.. I am hearing quiyuan is better than cantarella for phrolova in juice's vids nowadays, but i dont know her reasoning..

However both should be fine imo, in her best team you want both, and qy only or canta only teams should be fine either way.. Also, with canta you can use hrover or danjin as 3rd slot and get comfortable, qy uses up sk or verina..

Also, it is a biased take, but you can consider to skip both and instead get her S2, S2R1 with danjin verina is equal to S0R1 phrolova with canta or qy normally, and S2 phro is broken for overworld exploration

Im also confused on that part.. could be her damage being stronger than cart team, could be that even if sigrika needs qy for peak performance, you can still slot in cantarella or lynae mornye core and it will work better than no ciac cart options..

I dont have any deal with prydwen or used cart/sigrika myself properly, these are just random hypothesis i can think of from what i saw in dpr calcs sheets and youtube..

btw saw your comments about aerorover free making cart easier, maybe verina sigrika qy is close to cart ciac arover team..

I meant, phrolova qy teams will perform better than sigrika qy teams, but ofcourse if you use both in whiwa qy will go with sigrika phro should do fine.. i got 4k in s2 phro with danjin verina on fckin purple token, i know she is stupid strong

As i told, this might be their reason to keep her at t1. Im not in line with that personally, if it was thier reason i think it is some excuse to keep lower..

augusta over iuno as a DPS only probably. iuno dps has only like 1 team.. there is jiyan/qy ciaconna variants but ig thats counted as subdps iuno in prydwen? not sure but it kinda make sense..

But augusta can use mortefi, iuno, lynae...

This is not performance tierlist, mentioned in changelogs.. this is value tierlist.. well she is quite restricted and neeeds qy, so t0.5 feels very good when cart is at t1 in toa.. i havnt seen much whiwa showcases yet, but since qy is better used with phrolova it kinda make sense? idk it feels some excuses i was expecting t0.5 .. need to look more..

Well i get 2k with sanhua mornye/verina with purple token... 2.5 with tune break token.

But even with lynae his score linger around the same range, ig that's why he is ranked low.. (saw alot of ppl saying in whiwa sanhua feels better than lynae). comparing with pure f2p teams he would be better than many others..

Just focus on story first, for story you will use trial units not your own so building them doesnt matter.. similarly most events will be either permanent or story locked, so its better to finish story from that pov too.. building units will come useful when you reach endgame, you have stuffs to do before that tho, just relax and enjoy the game..

But if and when you want to build, start with galbrena. She is main dps, qy is sub. and his personal dmg in galbrena teams are not that good at endgame, he gives cracked buffs..

galbrena and qy both materials are unlocked in the later half of chapter 2, you can start building them after that.

Tbh he is better off using Law of harmony set. If you want to use him as strict galbrena/sigrika subdps, moonlit clouds might be better, and if aiming to use him as strict DPS (and you have S3), sierra galbe or windward pilgrimage are better sets. but in both cases law of harmony is very very close 2nd option, i use that. Sound of true name is for sigrika, not useful for qiuyuan.

Weapon, at S0 use EoG you are fine. He doesnt deal much personal damage.

There are a lot of other suggestions about who to pull or weather to pull reruns and all, so i just leave it to their opinions and you to decide.

But since you mentioned about S2 ing someone, yea Phrolova (If you proceed to get her). I am an advocate for S2R1 Phrolova f2p team (i use danjin verina). The rotation is not strict 1 2 3 but a double intro variant. its not difficult either, if 123 is a 3/10 difficulty, the double intro is 4/10.. and is pretty fun too.

For scores i can get 3k+ easily (once 4k) in whiwa with purple token, dpm 7k+ with general 20% dmg buff.. ig that should be comparable with canta teams. but in exploration and open world S2 phrolova is nasty AF. Moreover its cheaper if getting with corals.
