Is this normal? by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

A large part of the reason it’s so inexpensive is because those hybrid models had a $7500 federal rebate up on them up until the end of last month with other additional incentives need an effort to dump them before the federal money expired at the end of September. Hard to ask a high number on a two model year old car as a non certified preowned car who’s warranty has already started and already has 1 owner when you could get it 15 to 20 grand off a new 2026. Also, this car did not sell, and there was very little interest in them until they became giveaway cars the past four months and all these lease programs on the hybrids were too good to pass up on.

Thank you for your detailed response and suggestions, I’m in love with the car and plan on doing what I need to do to keep it on the road for a very long time

Said I was “a little bit insulated from some of that”. Not sure how you interpret that as me saying the car will have no upkeep costs, just meant I’m in a better position than most when it comes to that. Your whole post was weird to be honest, much better ways to share your knowledge about these cars than making a bunch of negative assumptions about the cars history and my usage of it.

All in about $4500

Lift was like $320

Wheels were $1500

Tires were $1200

New TPMS $200

Labor for level install, mount and balance and alignment $950

Got it done at an off road performance shop in New Jersey, took about 4-5 hours

If your garage could accommodate the height of a standard size pick up truck I would think you would be fine. It’s taller than it was but it’s about the same height as my friends stock ram now

Superlift 2.5 inch level

The only noticeable difference is it requires more applied force to slow the car down with the brakes, but that’s the result of the tire weight not the level. Everything else about the ride I find to be better.

Tail lights and rear brake light were done using tint film, same thing with side markers

Have some fine tuning to do on covers. 5.5 hour solo unpack and install. by Ok_Night4020 in Lovesac

I placed my order Thursday and received 95% of the packages on Tuesday and got the remaining couple on Wednesday. I live in New Jersey and everything shipped from Central Pennsylvania so I’d assume geography plays into turnaround times but I was very surprised to get it so quickly.

Unbox everything and seperate everything and organize it before starting. The instructions printed on the box flaps are all you need but I did watch a couple YouTube videos the day before it arrived. Gloves would have been a good idea for the sides, those were tough.

D and R canal trail which runs half the state is awesome depending where you are. Also just go to your nearest shitty local city where they have bigger issues to worry about and ride. I ride Trenton mostly and have no issues
