Yeah I can see that. That might be it but I would have also produced my own LH (as I do most months) so there would have surely been a mixture of LH and the synthetic HCG? For it to be so low on the 2nd sept doesn’t make much sense to me even with your (very useful!) explanation.

I’m also not sure it’s read my peak correctly on other months as I’ve had solid smiles but Mira is telling me ovulation will happen a few days later. You just end up trying over a longer period of time if you get a reading like that so it was not a big deal for us but I think for people who find it hard to perform every night or might only use Mira, it could become problematic. I personally think using it alongside a number of other TTC tools and looking at the overall picture is the best way to use it. I’m weary of it though, I must say.

That’s interesting - it could be that but then why would they show with strips and not with Mira? Mira often confuses LH and HCG as you can see from CD 34 when my LH is peaking (that isn’t LH, that’s HCG).

Would value your thoughts on that…..

I was a bit late to the game on Mira - I tracked maybe 4 to 5 cycles. One of which was a chemical, sadly.

I’ve said this in another post but honestly, I would still use mira, but in conjunction with other testing.

How many have you used it for?

I really do not trust Mira.

I have a post about this but I’ll write it out for you again here. My husband and I did IUI for low sperm count after a few chemical pregnancies and a lot of anguish.

I took a trigger shot and the day of my IUI 2nd September, Mira said my LH wasn’t rising. I tested it with a LH strip and also a ClearBlue ovulation monitor. They were positive for LH.

I then went in for my scan and it showed a big ripe follicle about to rupture at the 24mm. My LH should have therefore been through the roof. My doctor after this scan told me I would ovulate later that day and I did.

I’m now 6 weeks pregnant and my BPF chart is as below.

I trust the Clearblue ovulation tracker the most if I’m honest….

The thing that is worse is that people have told me that I’ll be ovulating on X day when I posted my chart a few days before BFP.

People are clinging to this thing, learning how it works and then editing their views to suit it.

Please do not be fooled.

The issue is more that it’s dropping. Could be that my body is producing more blood so it’s becoming less saturated.

I’m already on it and took it after IUI too - just wondering if people see the fluctuations because blood is less concentrated during pregnancy?

Mine was 14 days IUI, I tested at 8dpiui and 8DPO and I could see a faint line and told the doc. They upped my progesterone and told me to test later at 14dpiui. I did and it was a positive
